When we called upon you to support these girls lean how to sew, you heeded to our call, the 40 girls were enrolled on apprenticeship skills course that lasted 12 months, after this course, each of the girls were enabled to start their own sewing center, however there are five who decided to work together, their business is now called the "Five sisters"
"During Christmas season, we make alot of money as many people give us orders for Christmas" said Angelina-Head of the Five sisters club.
This project has enabled girls to find their own jobs hence reducing un employment rate in the region, most of the girls tha were enrolled had dropped out of school due to lack of school fees as a few had dropped out due to early pregnancies, in Uganda when one is impregnated while at school, there is no more hope for them to continue school, thank you for lighting up their future.
