Thank you very much for your geneous donations towards provision of clean and safe water to primary schools in Uganda.
With your recent help, we were able to purchase water purifiers to 5 primary schools, each class with its own purifier, what does this mean? it means that all children including teachers will have access to clean and safe water in class and will nolonger need to drink unclean/unsafe water.
It now means that class room attendance will be regular as no child will miss class because of typhoid attack which earlier on resulted from un clean water.
"Its true that even my teachers could not afford to buy water daily, they could also drink unboiled water, one day a teacher missed classes for two weeks as he was under going typhoid treatment, am sure with the introduction of this system, we wont face the same challenge again" narrates Luwala Primary school head teacher in Mpigi district.
There are many more schools in the area that need the sme kind of assistance, one could provide a class with a gift of the year this summer, will you?
