Every November/December we run a project called Buckets of Blessing, where we supply buckets filled with non-perishable food items, like canned foods, pasta, rice, soya mince. These buckets go to famlies in need in the various impoverished communities that we serve. The aim of distributing these is to supply food for the Christmas period and the buckets can be reused in their homes. This project is run every year in a way to bless families during the festive season. In South Africa, many companies close down for our summer holiday and casual workers lose their form of income during this time.
This past December, we were able to hand out 600 buckets which is the most we have ever done. These buckets were handed out with the help of our commuity leaders to families that had been identified as being in desperate need.
We would like to thank you for your support of this project. We would not have been able to do this without the generous donors that came on board. We look forward to running this again in November 2022 in hopes to reach more families that are in need of help.
