Did you know that traumatic adversities in life can negatively affect the lifelong development of a youth, such as impairing attention, decision making, learning skills, etc? Unfortunately, often many are left alone to struggle in their adversities. Trybe exists to support youth facing adversities in life. We help young people rise above their difficulties and come out stronger through our services and programmes. With ample support and guidance, every youth can lead a meaningful life.
Often, youth facing adversities are not given the opportunity to learn coping skills and could come from complex family backgrounds. Youth facing adversities, unlike adults, might not have any person that they can go to for advice and end up seeking support from negative and unhealthy sources or, worse, give up on life. We are losing our next generation.
It is important for the community to come together to create a safe and accepting environment. A pro-social community can provide support to these youth especially when they cannot find one. Such a community can also give struggling youth the opportunity to learn healthier skills and coping methods, and experience and form healthy relationships. Meeting our goal can help us to reach out to more youth who need us and support them to strive and write their own success stories, despite all odds.
While it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a Community to journey with a Youth. With continuous help and support, youth facing adversities in life will be able to rise above their difficulties and be part of the next generation that will bring about a greater change and impact to our world. We are building our next generation, creating opportunities for a better tomorrow.
