Joanna, Max & Bella arrived home safely last week because of you! It took longer than we had hoped but they are all safe and sound. They are living with Joanna's mother right now, but Joanna is looking for a job already and hopes to have their own place by the summer. Joanna wrote us an email and we wanted to share a part of it with you:
"I have never been more exhausted or more happy in my life. Because of you Max and Bella are with me. I just want to forget the past and the horrible things that happened. I want to look to the future but I will never forget how you helped us, ever."
We want to thank you for understanding how important pets are to victims of violence. They are often to only form of comfort for victims. We know that because of you Joanna, Max & Bella are well on their way to a new, happy, violence free life.
