Our crisis email is a lifeline for vulnerable Americans in crisis in a foreign country. This project will ensure we have a full time crisis email advocate available to provide critical, confidential support to Americans suffering with domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking and forced marriage in foreign countries, and to be able to respond quickly for the best possible outcome.
American victims are isolated and closely monitored by their abusers. Sneaking an email to our crisis line advocate for support, safety planning and resources is the only way for victims to communicate, safety plan, get support and understand their options when fleeing violence back home to the USA. The Federal Grants to help Americans suffering abroad was discontinued years ago. This crisis email is their only source of support.
American victims of gender base violence abroad will be able to communicate by email with our crisis email advocate, safely and confidentially.
