This project is going to provide 3,500 new books to our existing seven small libraries. Books give children the power to change their lives for the better and create a more equal future. In Ghana, many children don't have access to books at home or at school. Every year we offer the opportunity to read to thousands of children in northern Ghana through our little library program, and this project would help us buy 3,500 new books for our existing little libraries.

Our literacy program will continue to help more primary students become more literate and progress further to higher education. Studies have shown that literacy is the greatest component of education. Before one can progress further to higher education, you should be able to read fluently. All subjects in school, including mathematics, demand reading and understanding. Our target is to help 2 million Ghanaian children become more literate by 2030.
