Great breakthroughs have been made regarding the new season of the Young Changemakers Podcats. The first and most exciting is that we have confirmed the host for this new season: Meigan Díaz.

Meigan's engagement with Global Changemakers has spanned diverse roles: international facilitator, professor, online events manager and host of the Young Changemakers Podcast. She herself is a changemaker, having established at the age of 17 Involucratec—a youth association in Mexico —where she empowered over 3000 young people and children in areas such as gender equality, sustainability, and multiculturalism. Driven by her commitment to international development, Meigan served as a consultant for the United Nations in Bangkok and collaborated with prominent organizations like the Trust for the Americas, the UNDP, UNMGCY and the GIZ on issues pertaining to gender, youth, and sustainability. Her activism earned her recognition, including the MTV Generation Change Award in Latin America. And, in 2018, she was appointed as Mexico's Youth Delegate to the United Nations General Assembly for development-related concerns and selected by Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Meigan holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Tecnologico de Monterrey and a Master's in Public Policy with a specialization in Development from the National University of Singapore.

Through our past seasons we have cover diverse topics from the perspective of the young changemakers that are directly working on solving the wordl's most pressing issues. For Season 5 we want the Young Changemakers Podcast to be a platform for dialogue about the current conversations happening around the planet. Giving the spotlight to the voice of young activists, profesionals  and entrepreneurs is always our main priority.

These are some of topics that we want to cover in the new season:

- Why is it important to talk about menstrual health.

- How to step up your activism with the right skills.

- Artificial Inteligence from the perspective of a Young Changemaker.

- Migration.

- Youth Accelerating Climate Action.

We are still looking for the necessary funding to make this new season of the podcast a reality.
