What a journey Jessica and Sam have had! They are now safe and sound at home with Jessica's mom and dad in the USA. We weren't able to get them out until last week. Jessica's husband hid her American passport and we had to get a new passport issued with the American Embassy.
Here is a note from Jessica:
"Sam is so happy. He is romping with my parent's dog Bucky and chasing the cats until they turn on him and he backs up barking. I am doing really good. I am taking some time to recover. None of this would have been possible without you. I thank the Lord every day I found you. You will always be in my heart."
