Help Rescue Jessica and Sam from abuse

A microproject by Pathways to Safety International
Help Rescue Jessica and Sam from abuse

Summary

Jessica desperately needs to escape abuse in Brazil with her dog Sam. Her husband is extremely violent to Jessica but also to Sam. He withholds food and water from Sam when he wants to punish Jessica. We are safety planning with Jessica to try to get out before the holidays. We need to get Sam a kennel, vaccinations and certificates from the vet, an airline ticket for Jessica and the fees to bring Sam on the plane.

Challenge

Jessica and Sam need to escape abuse as soon as possible. Jessica's abusive husband is threatening to kill both her and Sam. With this project we will be able to rescue Jessica and Sam from abuse.

Solution

Jessica and Sam will be back home safe in the USA. They are going to live with Jessica's mom and dad and start their lives over without abuse.

Long-Term Impact

We will provide services to 150 American victims with pets in approximately 50 countries while they are fleeing violence. Our goal is to have all of them reach safety with their pets and live their lives without violence in their homes.
