This microproject will provide important vocational training for 30 destitute girls. These young girls and school drop outs have unfortunately been molested and suffered unwanted pregnancies. Funds from this project will help provide vocational training in catering. This training is important as it will help them to sustain their lives and become independent. It will further open them up to other opportunities.
This project will solve the unemployment problem for 30 ladies in Freetown. It provides a booster shot in the form of liberating vocational training. The training in catering will teach them how to produce and market local food and start a businesses in general catering. This will provide an important and relevant skill that they can use to start a small business and become self-sufficient.
The ladies will receive hand-on training in catering and starting their own business. The training will help them to be come independent - breaking free from helplessness and dependence. They will learn the essential skills of starting a relevant and in-demand small business. This will provide a new option for them and set them firmly on the path to a brighter future.
Project empowers youths to move from poverty and unemployment to self-sufficiency. It will contribute to youth development in skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship, creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged youths / young adults.
