Dear Project Supporters,
We greatly appreciate your support for future Sierra Leone leader, Theresa. Theresa expressed in her own words how she is doing and what your support means to her-
I am Theresa, a beneficiary of Develop Africa/ Creating Pathways Center. When I gained admission to study BSc. Public Health at the University of Makeni Sierra Leone, it became challenging financially. Nevertheless, Develop Africa always supports me and thanks to you I am a final year student.
I have just completed a five weeks internship at World Hope international Makeni Sierra Leone. I worked with the Health Department and together with the field coordinator we did messaging at various peripheral health units in Bombali district on a dipstick screening for urinary tract infections. In addition, I attended three days of training on early childhood development, worked with the village development committee, participated in the scientific production of mushroom and the experience is helpful to my studies and future career.
We resumed classes on October 21st this year and I am presently working on a topic for my dissertation. I will be taking my first semester exams in January-February 2020. Thank you Develop Africa and Global Giving. May God bless you.
