Dear Friend,
Thank you for your generous donation to support the Afghan Insitute of Learning and its anti-violence against women program. Your gift, combined with others, will enable women to attend a workshop on violence and how to avoid it, how to deescalate conflict and know their rights.
Empowering women is key to creating a stable Afghan society which is centered on peace, and core values such as mutual respect and trust and listening. Men also need to be educated in how to treat women with respect and the value that women have and the worth in educating them so they can contribute more fully to family and community.
