Food And Shelter For Victims Fleeing Violence

A microproject by Pathways to Safety International
Food And Shelter For Victims Fleeing Violence

We can't thank you enought for donating to provide food and shelter for victims fleeing violence! In the first quarter of this year ten families received emergency shelter and food while escaping very dangerous, abusive homes.

Rita and Alex were one of those families. Rita called us in the middle of the night. Her four year old son, Alex, and she ran out of their home in England when her husband took a knife from the kitchen drawer and threatened them. We were able to get Rita into a hotel for two nights plus food for her and Alex while our case manager, Lisa, worked with Rita to get her home safely to the USA.

Without your donations, we would not have had the ability to get Rita and Alex, and nine other battered mothers and their children into an immediate safe place.

Thank  you again for your support of our mission and battered Americans in foreign countries. The AODVC Team.
