The sustainable supply of sufficient and clean water for domestic consumption in 106 tseltal homes. Improving the families health and their quality of life, through 88 rainwater collection systems installation and 106 water treatment systems.

The unsanitary tseltal home conditions, because of contaminated water consumption. Gastrointestinal parasite diseases in all tseltal family members because of contaminated water consumption. Continuos phreatic mantles contamination.


The installation of eco-technologies will improve the homes hygiene conditions , while taking care of the environment. Water purification filters will decrease parasites ingestion. Rainwater havesting systems will provide enough water for domestic use. Polluted water treatment systems will prevent phreatic mantles contamination.

Long-Term Impact

Continuous improvement of family health. Quantity and quality water improvement for families consumption. Cleaner watersheds and a less risky water supply. Development of social organizational skills.
