Create employment opportunity of acid survivors' in Social Business of ASF-"ROSHOI GHAR" through increased income. Specific Objective: a. Enhance market-oriented knowledge and skills of the survivors' and employees on specific trade related to catering including management. b. Establish business outlet of ROSHOI GHAR with branding and promotion to create job opportunities for the survivors.
ASF has discovered that employees have limited market-oriented skills and minimal communication knowledge, which is one of the major gaps for running catering services in a profitable way. In addition, "ROSHOI GHAR" has no specific and structured business branding and promotional guidelines. Staffs are also not trained up to the level that can meet customer satisfaction but there is demand of quality service delivery.
The proposed project directly will work with 8 potential and self-interested acid survivors and transfer them advance knowledge and skill around specific catering services (culinary) including customer management so that they can take the lead to run the "ROSHOI GHAR" by using their earned skill and have access to employment opportunities.
The project will intend to trained potential survivors and increased confidence so that they may positively re-integrate back into their families and communities. Thus, this will ensure survivors and their families overall chance to live a life of dignity through a self-dependent and productive means.
