Children from a CRY project
Children from a CRY project

While we work with children on many aspects of child rights, we realised that in today's world a child cannot make an informed decision without being digital literate and have access to computers or smart phones or tabs and internet. Digital empowerment project is conceived with a vision that all children in our project areas must be digital literate and with your support we are moving forward.

This multi-phased project involves introducing digital engagement among various stakeholders one at a time for successful inclusion. As the project leaders, our partner from remote regions need to be first inducted to the program such that they train the community organiser who implements project at field level and continuously interact and provide inputs to children.

With your support and a generous grant from Oracle, we have undertaken designing and development of Results Based Monitoring System (RBMS) and hardware support for 50 computers which will help us track program results and use data analytics to measure progress, social impact, and outcomes of each project across India to achieve the changes in the lives of children which are sustainable and meaningful; the project leaders will thus need to understand and learn the functioning and get to comfortable level on interface with RBMS.

This, however, is just the beginning of the project, within next few years, in the next phases of the program, CRY aims to deploy computers and tabs at field staff level and then in the final phase the children and their community will be inducted to the program. And this will not be possible without your support.

We, therefore, look at you for support now more than ever before. Support us!

Please consider telling your friends and family about our project - share the link on your blogs or social networks, use the tell-a-friend feature on the project page below to email your network, or just bring us up in conversation. You know your friends and family best, so use your own words - tell them why you chose our project and what it means to you and ask them to support too. Let’s make the best of this!
