We want to thank everyone who donated to help us help the poorest of the poor during the worst waves of Covid-19. We were able to provide funds to all of our 500 children's families on a monthly basis so that they were able to buy food and soap. We also provided masks.
If all goes well, the schools in Kenya will open to all grades on January 4, 2021. Then all of the children will be receiving their free warm lunches at school. That will be a huge relief to their parents and guardian.
We are happy to report that through safety procedures - masks and social distancing - none of the children, youths, parents, or our staff were infected with Covid-19. We can just hope that it stays that way.
We at Live and Learn in Kenya International wish you and your families and friends a happy, successful, joyful, and HEALTHY 2021 - filled with thousands of reasons to SMILE!
Perhaps when speaking or writing to family and friends you can mention our organization and what we are doing to make life a joy for hundreds of children and their families. Maybe a spark can ignite a new fire in the heart of someone else.
All the best - ASANTE SANA - thank you so much!
