The community water project aims to provide a permanent solution to water scarcity for over 600 households by digging a well, building a wall around it, and pumping water to the community. The project leverages community labor to dig the well, reducing costs, and utilizes solar-powered pumping and piped water distribution
The community currently relies on contaminated water sources, and piped water is not a feasible option in the near future. This project addresses the urgent need for safe and clean water, providing a reliable solution for the community.
The project will solve the water scarcity problem by digging a well to access a reliable and clean water source, installing a solar-powered water pump to extract and distribute water, building a wall around the well to protect the water source from contamination, laying pipes to distribute water to the community, and providing a plastic water tank to act as a reservoir.
The project will have a lasting impact on the community, providing: - Access to safe and clean water all year round - Improved health and hygiene for over 600 households - Increased economic productivity and stability - A sustainable solution that can be maintained and managed by the community - A significant reduction in water-borne illnesses and related healthcare costs
