This micro project will provide mattresses, bed sheets, blankets and other basic house hold items to a widow's family of eight in Mpigi Uganda, family lost dad to HIV a year ago, all children are of School going age but the woman struggles to provide for the family.
The project will enable every child in this family to have their own beddings, right now, there is only one mattress used by their mum, the rest of the children sleep on the floor in a small room. Mountains of Hope is waiting another project on Global giving to help build for them a small two roomed house as they are currently living in a temporary shelter.
Children will have a comfortable place to stay and sleep, every child will have their own bed and will be enabled to access basic needs
A healthy child has a healthy mind, this project will not only have provided just beddings but would have supported the family with psychosocial need which enables kids to learn well in school and have an enjoyable home
