It does take a village and you are our village!
We are always looking to continue raising awareness to healthy habits to keep COVID19 out of our villages while trying to help our children not be left behind in their studies. Education is key to rise out of poverty and we are working with four volunteer teachers who are helping our children keep up to date on their studies. Our tutorial program offers classes from primary students all the way to secondary students.
This campaign was so important to maintain this program and also continue updating our handwashing stations with fresh soap and water and we reached our goal during the little by little campaign.
To date, we have installed over 500 tippy taps and have 71 students in our tutoring program at our guest house.
Thanks to all of you, we were also able to help with the schools and church re-opening in our villages!
Only 70 people are allowed at each church service and only the Primary, Senior 4, Senior 6 and University and College students are allowed to come to school to take their finals so they can move on to the next year. We are working very hard prepping our 3 children in primary 7 so they are able to pass their exams and move on to Secondary School!
Once again, thank you for helping us build the government mandatory handwashing stations for the church and the schools to open. It's with your support that made it possible!!

In the Rubuguri area of Uganda, The Angel Projects continues the fight against the spread of COVID-19 by building and maintaining tippy-taps (handwashing stations) as well as teaching the locals how to use them and how to take other preventive measures against the spread of disease. With your support we are getting close to over 100 tippy taps built throughout the Kisoro District!
Some delivery truck drivers that stock the local merchants who pass through the district have tested positive for COVID-19, but because of the precautions taken by the villagers, there have been no cases in the Rubuguri area. Our message on handwashing, wearing masks and maintaining social distance is being heard and adhered to.
The Feeding Program in Uganda for families whose incomes have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic is thriving and the the support we have received is awesome.
Justus our general manager in Uganda has established a coupon program which provides local families with coupons they can exchange for food and other necessities at local shops. The coupons are created by Justus with our organization stamp so the merchants know they will be reimbursed by us when a villager uses a stamp in exchange for food or supplies needed. We are trying to reach out to the most needy and in some villages we are delivering sacks of flour and posho (the local meal) to be distributed to families. This is a program that we will need the most support to help prevent food insecurity while they wait for the country to open again so the people can work and earn a living for their family.
Thank you for all your support with these programs!
