The past year and a half has surrounded us with heartbreaking images.
In just minutes of scrolling through social media, you might see peaceful protests met with violence, refugees fleeing the worsening impacts of the climate crisis, or crowded hospitals full of COVID-19 patients. Yet in the face of these challenges, there are glimmers of hope.
Virtual events have transformed the way we communicate and learn. Small acts of kindness have helped individuals, families, and communities face even the most daunting challenges.
It’s these images of hope that make even the most difficult moments bearable. Thankfully GlobalGiving’s nonprofit partners are capturing—and creating—the hopeful moments. Find your inspiration today with these four heartwarming images from the winners of our 2021 Photo Contest!
