The GlobalGiving cookbook features recipes shared by nonprofit leaders from 17 different countries in the GlobalGiving community. Each leader is committed to a life-changing mission, and food plays an integral part in their lives and work.

The cookbook includes recipes for:

  • Karachi Drumsticks from Pakistan. This local twist on Buffalo wings was created by Tara, a nonprofit leader with Dawood Global Foundation.
  • Ayote and Mora Pupusas from El Salvador. Cook up a batch of these thick griddle cakes shared by the Mangrove Association. They’re are a common meal made with cheese, beans, pork, and beef. Rural families incorporate local plants and herbs into the recipe to create new plates filled with natural vitamins and proteins.
