Victoria began her journey in disaster response by helping families and communities in Nepal and Puerto Rico recover in the aftermath of natural disasters. In addition, Victoria led sex education and women empowerment courses in Guatemala and supported youth education projects in Costa Rica. She graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in international relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in international disaster preparedness.
