On the other hand, Reintegration programs applied by the government don't have a holistic nor gender-specific perspective to fight the root causes of the problem, and neither do they have programs for inmates to create a new life project away from crime and violence. Given this scenario, insecurity and recidivism rates continue to grow at the national level because the existing policies do not address underlying problem within prisons, neither prevent crime outside of prisons. Our mission is to provide prisoners with productive activities, training and skills that would help them to face the challenges of life on the outside. We understand that the problem of insecurity cannot be solved by isolating and separating; but by confronting and addressing the structural causes, motives and social, psychological and family reasons that led a person to act in a certain way.
