YWCA of Greater Portland

The YWCA of Greater Portland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We have provided critical services to women and their families since 1901. At our founding, we offered women a sanctuary from the dangers of city life. Today's YWCA is a leader in creating safety, opportunity and independence for our most vulnerable residents: domestic violence survivors, frail seniors, low-income youth, and women in transition.
