Thanks to your support, BioRaiz is reaching new educational communities. To date, two schools have participated in the project. During a visit to the La Tejera School, students from second through fifth grade learned about BioRaiz in their school garden and received the fertilizer to use on their crops. Meanwhile, students from Gotera Highschool visited Amún Shéa, where the students led a workshop explaining what BioRaiz is, how it is made, and what it is used for. Additionally, adults participating in the agroecology workshop (organized through PEOF) were introduced to BioRaíz and its applications.
Since the students must also keep up with their regular academic responsibilities, the team visits one school per month. There are eight schools left to visit, and these activities will continue over the coming months.
Thank you for making this possible!
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this project. Thanks to your donations, the fundraising goal was met, allowing the students to continue sharing their knowledge with more schools.
Your support provides young people with opportunities to learn by doing, develop practical skills, and promote sustainable agricultural alternatives within their communities. Thank you for trusting these students and helping them take their knowledge beyond the walls of Amún Shéa!
