THANKS to France National TV for Nanofilter Global Publicity in France and around the world

Harison and family receiving a water filter gift
Harison and family receiving a water filter gift

THANKS a lot to France National TV for introducing us to France Nationals and make our story viral online - we got a lot of comments and connections through Global Visibility created by this TV Station. The Journalists from France National TV visited my home town in Karatu / Arusha - Tanzania and spent two weeks with me, my mother, my community in Gongali, and particularly our customers. They visited our customers and prepared high quality videos - as you can see in the attached video clip. The turn-up was very exciting because many France Nationals like Jennifer and Béatrice URGENTLY responded by supporting the needy families through GlobalGiving. Many families benefited from those donations, like Mr. Haris and his family (consider the attached photo). We will give detailed report to whoever is interested to learn more about our initiative and how to scale-up to reach many people in Sub-suharan Africa and elsewhere, as the funding will allow. Please kindly contact us via hilonga@gmail.com.

HERE IS WHAT IS WRITEN IN FRENCH (I cannot read it - but I think it might be something nice about our innovation):

Biogas project supported by Government officials and foreign institutions

USA Students Visiting Biogas Customers in Tanzania
USA Students Visiting Biogas Customers in Tanzania

This quarter is so unique to TAHUDE Foundation and the whole Gongali Community. We are glad that our project is attracting local and international attention. The government leaders formerly invited our Biogas project to be one of the exhibitors in National Health and Environment Day on 2nd June 2017. It was a splendid event.

Moreover, we received more than 100 foreign visitors who wanted to visited our project. The attached photos shows university students from USA visiting one of our customers in Gongali village - Tanzania. They were so impressed by our innovation.

These connections are contributing to our project publicity and we have been receiving donations from Anonymous (we respect the privacy of our customers who did not reveal their names) - but some donors also revealed their names. To all of them - along with the GlobalGiving - we say THANK YOU SO MUCH!

At present we have already built 89 biogas systems to our customers by June 2017. With your timely support we will be able to reach our target of 100 households before the end of 2017 - then we can cover more customers and scale-up this initiative to other regions in Tanzania and across Sub-Sharan Africa. The need is bigger than our financial capacity. For details about our project and how it benefit our underserved community, particularly women and girls (pain of looking for firewood for cooking, painful smoke when cooking with trees, eyes problem, etc), please contact us via hilonga@gmail.com.

Yowchanan - Our very generous solar lantern donor has physically visited us in Tanzania

Seeing is believing! Yowchanan visits Tanzania
Seeing is believing! Yowchanan visits Tanzania

Seeing is believing!

This is how one of our very generous solar lantern donor (Yowchanan from USA) felt when he physically visited us in Tanzania. Yowchanan, appearing in green shirt in the attached photo, visited our office and customers. He was excited to see how his donation is making impact to many people, particularly the school children who are benefiting from our solar lantern project. We encourage these eye witness visits to make our case easily understandable to the global community of supporters through GlobalGiving.

We invite you, as our generous donor, to visit our projects and get the live testimonies from the people you supported. If you are not visiting Africa / Tanzania in near future you may tell your family and friends (and office mates) who are visiting Tanzania to drop-by our office in Arusha. We will be happy to joyfully share our stories and visit our beneficiaries - they feel so happy to meet their global friends; it also add a sense of accountability and transparency to our employees working for the projects.

So, when are you visiting us? We will assist you with local logistics at no extra cost to your pre-planned budget. You already helped us through GlobalGiving; now it is time for us to give back to you through our "local hospitality".
