The schools educates the children from pre-schooling to Grade V. We have seen that some children of poor parents are still dropped out due to poverty of their parents.
We have developed a new program to collect Zakat for developing income Generating activities of the poor parents. We are committed to supporting the poor parents who are in economic hardship and engage their children in child labor. We are supporting 35 families of remote Ramu hilly area of Cox's Bazar district in this program. We are providing them training and technical support to raise their incomes. We also provide input and marketing supports to them.
For continuing the support to the selected parents to continue their children education at least up to age 18 and getting decent work in matured life, they need continuous supports from people like you. 100% of your zakat goes to the poor parents of our school children! We are looking for new donors who will give zakat recurrently basis to provide regular supports to the deserving parents. We are also looking for new volunteers, who can help us with either fundraising or raising awareness by sharing our initiative.
