The 50 Women in Tech initiative, launched by Aseel, has made significant progress in empowering women within the tech industry. Through this program, we have been able to provide support, training, and mentorship to women who face systemic barriers to entering the workforce, especially in male-dominated sectors such as technology.
As of now, we have successfully supported and onboarded 35 women into the program. These women have gained access to resources that are essential to their professional development in tech, despite facing significant social and cultural challenges. Many of the women enrolled in the program have been restricted from pursuing careers in conventional work environments due to societal norms and restrictions, which further underscores the importance of this initiative.
Through this program, we are not only creating opportunities for women in technology but also working to break down the cultural barriers that prevent them from entering the workforce.
To continue the success of the program and ensure that each fellow receives the necessary resources and support, we require $7,400 to support one fellow fully. This funding will cover training, mentorship, and the provision of essential tools and resources needed for the fellows to thrive.
In order to meet our goal of supporting 50 women in total, we urgently need additional donations. Your contribution will directly support the empowerment of these women and provide them with the opportunities they deserve.
As we move forward, we remain committed to expanding the 50 Women in Tech program, onboarding more women, and ensuring they have the skills and opportunities to thrive in the tech sector. Your donations will directly impact the lives of these women an
