The YouthSpark Fund supports great nonprofits working to create education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth (ages 6-24). With your help youth can get access to education, gain skills training to secure jobs, and start their own ventures. Donations to the YouthSpark Fund will be allocated to seven nonprofits: City Year, Code.org, College Success Foundation, Girls Who Code, NFTE, TakingITGlobal, and University of the People.
Today's youth aspire to build a brighter future, but there is an opportunity divide between young people who have access, skills and opportunities to be successful--and those who do not. With more than 75 million unemployed youth around the world, we must work together to close this divide in order to secure the future of our youth, and of our global economy.
The YouthSpark Fund supports top nonprofits on GlobalGiving working to help young people overcome challenges around the world by connecting them with greater opportunities for education, employment and entrepreneurship.
By helping YouthSpark organizations access funding, we can all help empower young people around the world to create and seize opportunities to change their world.
When a disaster strikes, recovery efforts led by people who live and work in affected communities are often overlooked and underfunded. GlobalGiving is changing this reality. Since 2004, we've been shifting decision-making power to crises-affected communities through trust-based grantmaking and support.
We make it easy, quick, and safe to support people on the ground who understand needs in their communities better than anyone else.
They were there long before the news cameras arrived, and they’ll be there long after the cameras leave. They know how to make their communities more resilient to future disasters, and they’re already hard at work. GlobalGiving puts donations and grants directly into their hands. Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
