Thank you for your support. Your contribution will be part of our social fund.
With the Social Fund, YAR Flanders aims to support (non-affluent) young people in their future plans: young people who want to study but lack the necessary financial resources to do so, by financing school supplies, clothing, medication, rental deposits, or tuition fees, etc.
YAR Flanders has explicitly chosen to manage the Social Fund's resources separately from its regular operating resources. These resources are often made available as conditional, interest-free loans: in exchange for the support, young people are asked to make a commitment. For example, if support is provided for a study, a commitment to achieving results is required, which can lead to the loan being waived.
In this way, we take an inclusive approach: every young person can make new choices based on their own strengths and take ownership of their life path.
Thanks by you, we can make this possible.
