Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing safe education to our beneficiaries affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. All of the villages nowadays even those in the remote regions are affected and the poor suffers much as they lack the resources to go to the hospital and to seek treatment. The best way for us is to educate them in order to ward-off the epidemic. We found this to be very effective and have save many lives. The simple messages are keep social distance, wash hands more often and wear a face mask. This reporting period we are integrating these education approach to our training with farmers and farm workers. We are able to do this with 135 trainees since September last year. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project educating the general public especially the poor and marginalized about the dangers of the Coronavirus pandemic. We emphasized to them the fact that there is no vaccine yet and that hygiene, social distancing and improving health by eating nutritious food is a must in order to protect oneself. This reporting period we focus our education support to promoting the growing of vegetables in the backyard and especially targeting the elderly who are considered the most vulnerable. We were able to support 215 elderly in this manner and we aim to scale-up this effort and include more as we go along. The technique of gardening as well as the availability of garden inputs is within our easy access so no problem at all.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you so much for your generous support to our project educating poor villagers about the Coronavirus pandemic. The main issue with local people is that the virus could not be seen and there is the problem of perception, that is, what is not seen is difficult to comprehend to cause so much problem. We are doing our very best to provide education using 3 main prevention measures namely, social distancing, the wearing of face masks and to wash the hands with soap. We also informed local people to postpone uncessary travel and not to congregate in public. We are doing this by the distribution of flyers, one-on-one meetings and advicing them to listen always to the news on radio. We are able to reach-out to 315 individuals in this manner and we will continue our education initiative as the months progress. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
