As a new school year approaches, thousands of children across Syria are preparing to return to their classrooms. For many families affected by years of conflict, displacement, and economic hardship, however, preparing a child for school is becoming increasingly difficult.
A simple school bag, notebooks, pencils, and other basic learning materials may seem small, but for a child whose family is struggling to meet essential daily needs, these items can make the difference between starting school with confidence and feeling left behind.
Through our “Write Their Future: School Kits to Syrian Kids” campaign, Salam Humanitarian Foundation (SHF) continues its commitment to helping vulnerable children access the basic tools they need to learn, participate in class, and pursue their dreams.
A School Bag Means More Than Supplies
For a child, receiving a school kit is not only about notebooks and pencils. It is about dignity, inclusion, and motivation.
