Numerous volunteers have joined the fight against COVID19, serving the country in these hard times of pandemic entirely on a voluntary basis. But the conditions in which they are operating are unfortunately not at all satisfactory and safe; lack of essential hygienic materials, food meals, sleeping spaces for volunteers from other cities engaged in Prishtina, etc., make their mission more difficult. Let's help the volunteers by donating to this fund!
The entire globe is facing the pandemic appeared for the first time in human history, COVID-19. While we are staying self-isolated in our homes to protect ourselves from this disease, there are people who are staying out in the service of the country endangering their health, alongside those who are on the front line. And these people are the many volunteers all over the country who have joined the fight against COVID-19.
Through this fund, we will cover the volunteers' basic expenses: food meals, transportation expenses. We will also provide sleeping space for volunteers living far from where they serve, paying the rent. We will provide volunteers wherever they operate in the municipalities of Kosovo with essential hygienic and protective materials. Thus, we make their volunteer work easier and safe.
The duration of the COVID-19 pandemic is still unpredictable, at least until a vaccine against it is detected. As long as this pandemic exists, there will be a need for these volunteers to serve and for their commitment to take place in satisfactory and safe conditions for their health. Upon completion of the pandemic, these volunteers will be engaged in raising public awareness about maintaining public health and preventing various infectious diseases.
