21st Report on Women Vegetable Club

Thank you for the kind donations of 16,603 USD and all your support throughout . Our women vegetable club is successfully growing and helping to change the socio-sconomic condition of the rural women in Punjab Province.

The women groups have farmed, apple gourd which is high in demand. Selling their first cycle to the markets, they have earned quite a good profit of  (3000 per day) . Two of the other women groups in Tehsil Samundri , Faisalabad have also cultivated apple gourd and cucumber. As the lockdown has been lifted up , the demand of the vegetable is high and is giving a good profit to all the beneficiairies. The other group earned a profit of nearly 35000 a day.  Majority of the women groups are now preparing to farm Cabbage, which is a high profit vegetable and will be ready by the winters .

One of the women group in Dhol Basti is quite happy and earning a good profit from the farm. One of the group member said " With the profit earned i have managed to start a small business on the side which has also started giving me a good profit. I am Thankful to AWARD for believing in us."

The project has seen decline in donations. It is a requeest to all donors and supporters to keep supporting the project.
