Women support the wider community
![]()
We thank you again for your ongoing support for this project.
Women support their community in many ways. our project supports women to be able to confidently provide this support for themselves, their family and the wider community. Two ways we do this are by working with children to support mothers and families, and another is through health education.
The children's Learning Through Play program focuses on the development of children, however, mothers also benefit from the program. The program is a support for women as they can learn new ideas to support the development of their children through a range of play activities. It also provides access to resources that families may not have access to at home. It's also great compant for the wome as they build their community network.
It is also a meeting point, where mothers can interact with other parents and grandparents providing support and a social outlet. Parenting can feel isolating at times and this program is a way for mothers to support each other share ideas.
Health of women and families is also a priority. Education on health topics enables women to be more confident in decision making and have a broader knowledge and understanding of issues that may affect ther child's health.
We work to educate women through workshops or individual support sessions. This broadens their knowledge and understanding of particular issues through shared learning.
Your donations help us to fund resources to run these types of programmes. We can use the funds to develop resources that can educate women on topics such as child development and other health topics relevant to their communities.
We thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to work on these programs to support women and as a result the children and wider community.
