The Women's Employment Network is currently working one-on-one and in a group setting with nine women who need assistance finding employment that will give them economic stability. Some of the women in class number 233 have been working part-time as they search for full-time employment. Others are transitioning to new careers after having been downsized due to the economy. Each of the women have come to WEN to participate in our five-week program that will build their self-esteem while teaching them that skills that they need to navigate today's job market to find the employment that they need to sustain themselves and their families. Class number 233 will graduate on July 23 with well-written resumes, interviewing skills, knowledge of themselves and what they have to offer in the job market, as well as a the friendship and ongoing support of the WEN staff as they search for employment. WEN staff is there for all of our graduates whenever they need us for continuing counsel and support.
