Women Volunteers Mobilization Project

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative fielding women volunteers to help in project implementation. Implementation include a lot of things including project development, area assessment, linkage generation, resource accessing and monitoring and evaluation. This requires varied skills to our volunteers and we conduct regular capacity building activities in order to equip them. This reporting period our training include how to start small gardens that the beneficiaries can do easily in their homes. The benefits that our volunteers derive is the skill sets they get which they can use later on when they go to regular employment. We were able to provide training to 8 volunteers during this reporting period and we hope for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your continuing support to our project mobilizing women volunteers in our project areas. Mobilizing women volunteers remain the best strategy we have in conducting community empowerment work in the villages because volunteers know the local culture and leadership dynamics in the community and they are very easy to mobilize. They are very important especially during our disaster response and recovery efforts. We are visited by many typhoons in a year and we can easily request our volunteers for their help. We provide them with logistical support during their deployment. This reporting period we have a total of 8 volunteers active in the field. Again thank you very much for your support.
