Women farmers love to improve their production and income by the growing of high-valued fruit trees as well as vegetables but the problem is acquiring seedlings and seeds are difficult and there is a need to provide them with these in a sustainable manner and in so doing they surpass this singular barrier in increasing their income and providing food security.
The main problem faced by women farmers wanting to improve their lives is the lack of high-quality fruit tree seedlings as well as vegetable seeds that they will grow in their farms. When they have these inputs they will be able to improve their food access as well as nutrition and income for their families. We need to solve this problem in order to increase the well-being of women farmers.
We will produce in our farm seedlings and vegetable seeds and then distribute them to women farmers in a plant now pay later scheme. In this way they are able to have access to high-quality farming inputs that will otherwise hinder their quest for improvement. Aside from mere provision, we will also provide them with technical materials and training so that they are able to successfully improve their farming activities.
The well-being of women farmers depend on the quality of support provided to them. We will do this by providing seedlings and seeds which are otherwise inaccessible by them. Aside from food, nutrition and income, we will be able to also improve the biodiversity of the planet and help combat climate change.
