We started a new year full of activities and our headquarters located in Villa Ojo de Agua (Santiago del Estero) opened its doors again to receive the women who are part of one of our main projects: Women Empowerment.
Throughout March we launched a call for women in the region to sign up for our workshops. After a meticulous process, we selected the first 27 women who, from the first week of April, began to participate in our activities.
The agenda of activities was made up of 17 handicraft classes, where the women carried out practical activities led by our two best teachers. In addition to providing them with all the necessary materials and resources for the workshops, one of our project assistants accompanied them throughout the entire course, answering their doubts and concerns.
So far this year, we have already offered more than 50 hours of workshops to these women! For this reason, with all the enthusiasm, we are already planning the activities for the second half of the year, where we will continue accompanying this group of women!
