Winter Relief for Afghanistan

The winter months in Afghanistan present significant challenges to its people, especially amidst the current humanitarian crisis facing the nation. To address the urgent needs of vulnerable families, we initiated the Winter Relief Campaign.
Campaign Overview: Our goal was to raise $5000 to provide essential aid to families in need during the harsh winter season. Despite challenges, we received $828 in donations, which enabled us to offer assistance to several families.
Assistance Provided: Through the funds raised, we were able to support six families identified by Aseel.

• A widow with a sick son who is suffering from a mental disorder.
• An elderly woman without a male breadwinner for her daughters.
• An elderly man who works on the street.
• Three other widowed women are responsible for providing food for their children.

Each family received a large family food package designed to sustain 8-10 members for over a month. These packages included essential food items such as oil, flour, rice, various beans, onions, potatoes, eggs, milk, sugar, and tea.(attached the picture of package) 

Impact: The total value of each food package is estimated at $138, accounting for the cost of the provided items. With the $828 raised, we successfully aided six families, providing crucial support to alleviate their hardships during the winter.
Despite the challenges, our Winter Relief Campaign made a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable 6 families in Afghanistan. We thank all donors and supporters who contributed to this important cause.
