Winter Relief for Afghanistan

Winter in Afghanistan brings immense hardships, especially amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis. To address these challenges, we launched the first round of our Winter Relief Campaign in 2024, with an initial goal of raising $5,000. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we collected $900, enabling us to support six vulnerable families identified by Aseel. The families we assisted included: A widow caring for her mentally ill son. An elderly woman with no male breadwinner. An elderly man earning a living on the streets. Three widowed women raising their children. Each family received a food package worth $138, containing essential items such as oil, flour, rice, beans, onions, potatoes, eggs, milk, sugar, and tea. These provisions sustained 8–10 individuals for over a month. This was the impact of the first round of our campaign. As we face another winter, our mission is to extend aid to even more families in need.
