Winter Relief for Afghanistan

The winter in Afghanistan brings significant hardships, especially during the ongoing humanitarian crisis. To help, we launched the first round of our Winter Relief Campaign with a goal of raising $5,000. Although we collected $900, this amount allowed us to support six vulnerable families identified by Aseel.

These families included:

• A widow with a mentally ill son.
• An elderly woman without a male breadwinner.
• An elderly man working on the street.
• Three widowed women responsible for their children.

Each family received a food package valued at $138, containing essentials like oil, flour, rice, beans, onions, potatoes, eggs, milk, sugar, and tea, enough to sustain 8-10 people for over a month.

This was the impact of the first round of our campaign, and we are now four months away from the next winter. We aim to aid even more people in the upcoming winter. We appreciate the generosity of our donors and supporters, and we look forward to continuing our efforts.
