Mirai no Mori team!
Mirai no Mori team!

Thank you so much for your generous support for our Winter Camp!

With your precious donation, we were able to invite 11 youth, 3 care workers and 8 Mirai no Mori camp staff to Winter Camp for 4 days.

We have created lots of magical moments and life-changing experience with them.

Some had fun making snow balls, others challenged themselves to sled a steep hill from a very high point.

We are honoured to have your support to make this camp happen.

From now on, we are planning to bring the Winter Camp back on the menu, so that we can tell campers "See you at next Winter camp!"

Everyone at Mirai no Mori is so excited for another fun and successful year with you, and once again, we appreciate your generous support.

I can do it!
I can do it!

We are all set to welcome 12 campers and 2 care workers from 2 homes in Miyagi and Tokyo!

After sorting out everything, now we are getting ready to welcome campers to our first Winter Camp as NPO Mirai no Mori!

After this one, we will try our very best to make this Winter Camp back on the menu from now and beyond, to empwer the youth we serve through out the year.

Activity #1

Snow Science

Did you know that approximately 5% of all the kinds of mammals hibernate? We will learun how animals survive in winter with several kinds of experiment. At the end of this Snow Science, the campers will know exactly how they should dress in winter.

Activity #2

Snowshoeing adventure

As a whole Mirai no Mori team, 12 campers, 2 care workers and 8 Mirai no Mori staff, will be heading into the snowy mountain with snow shoes on the last day to finish our magical camp. No one will be left behind! We will demonstrate our 5 values in the course of 4 days, believing that the campers will bring them back to their daily lives.

"Kindness" "Respect" "Leadership" "Responsibility" "Courage"

Thank you very much for your generous donations to support this project. We have less than 3 weeks left till we depart!
