We have news about the project Wikimapa. The seven young residents are already in the streets of Complexo da Penha slum showing what their community has to offer. Already on the map are several schools, markets, restaurants and leisure spots.
For them is a great experience to know and disclose where they live. In the words of the wiki reporter Maíra:
"I'm adoring this project since I started to map. Knew things, people, culture points, new emporuim in my community that I did not know and had no idea that existed. I had no idea that being a wiki reporter would do so well for me and my Community, I am very excited. "
Still has much to be discovered and shown in Complexo da Penha slum and our wiki reporters are looking.
That's it, folks! We'll come back soon with more Wikimapa news straight from Complex da Penha.
