Project: Wheels for Education Access in Zambia
The Wheels for Education Access in Zambia project was initiated to raise funds for the purchase of a vehicle to support the Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development (CCCYD) in reaching children and young people, particularly those living in remote and underserved communities.
During the reporting period, the project raised a total of US$101 through GlobalGiving. While we are sincerely grateful to the donors who contributed, the amount raised was unfortunately not sufficient to purchase the vehicle as originally planned. As a result, CCCYD was unable to achieve the main project objective of purchasing a vehicle under this fundraising campaign. The lack of reliable transport continues to present challenges in reaching beneficiaries, conducting field monitoring, supporting community-based activities, and transporting essential program materials. Despite not reaching the fundraising target, we greatly appreciate every donor who supported the project.
The US$101 raised demonstrates the generosity and commitment of individuals who believe in improving access to education and opportunities for vulnerable children and young people in Zambia. CCCYD remains committed to exploring alternative fundraising opportunities and partnerships that may help the organization address its transportation needs in the future. Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported our vision. Every contribution, regardless of size, is deeply appreciated.
