Challenge

Project tackles a dual engineering and educational challenge, leaving a sustainable, community-driven initiative, while developing a model for long-term global engagement so that similar projects can be replicated with partner communities elsewhere.

Solution

We will be co-designing and building a new water system with the community, while co-developing and implementing a water education initiative which includes teaching materials and technical training.

Long-Term Impact

The project aims to benefit the community of Jazmín immediately, though the success of the operation will create a replicable model for development that shows the power of community collaboration and sustainability.
