Luvuyo Centre for Early Childhood Development and Care is on a journey to becoming a National Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Centre of Excellence ensuring Communities' access to clean and safe drinking water; Adequate and dignified sanitation facilities for vulnerable communities; Prevention of water sources contamination; and Promoting hands-washing for behavioral change on personal hygiene through; Business partnerships development for WASH, a socio-economic.
The project is aimed at providing solutions to water shortages faced by communities in rural areas, informal settlements and farms through augmenting bulk water supply and promoting access to safe drinking water. Investments will be executed within Madibeng Local Municipality in the Northwest; Emfuleni and Rand West City Local Municipalities in Gauteng; as well as Victor Khanye Local Municipality in Mpumalanga.
