This project will install a solar tube well to fetch under ground water to fulfill drinking water needs of 530 living people and 360 animals (goat, cow and bullock) of 03 villages of union council Mirpur district Jhal Magsi Baluchistan. District is facing extreme drought situation due to no rain since 03 years as this is solely rainy area and agriculture and livelihood of people living in major part of the district depends upon rain and hilly water. Major population is migrated due to situation
District Jhal Magsi is most backward district of Baluchistan presently facing drought situation due to no rain since last three years. The district is Barani (rainy) area and agriculture of the district depends upon rain and hilly water. Union council Mirpur is 100% dependent upon the rain water , since last three years there is no rain due to this 80% population have migrated and rest 20% population and 50 % livestock are facing scarcity of drinking water.
Village Odhana is centre point of UC Mirpur and fortunately there is underground sweet water but it is very deep and its difficult to fetch water without tube well and deep hand pump. A tube well can meet need of drinking water of 530 living people of three villages located very near and 330 animals. This project will solve the drinking water and livelihood of people living in these three villages. livestock will survive on water people can sell these animals for their livelihood
People of the villages will return back to their home , start cultivating feed for their animals at small level and their livelihood as well as economical condition will be improved. The school have been closed due to migration of families , when they returned their children will start education again. Due to migration people are facing hardships and difficulties in health and earnings , they will get rid of these issues. People love their homeland and forced to leave , they will return to land
